Market Day 20th May

Mid May at the Farm It’s noticeably warmer on the farm lately and we begin our days ever earlier in order to complete our chores before the sultry heat sets in. The snap and crackle of dry season is almost over and the animals seem ready to taste the lush, emerald green grass of summer. They are up even earlier than we are, moving about in the misty dark air, relishing the cool dewy grass. The garden rows, once covered in winter greens, have been tilled under, tucked in with mulch, and left to rest before the summer crops are nestled into their new home. From the garden, Cranberry Hibiscus, Red Russian Kale, and Broccoli shoots are what we ...

Starting at 10AM, our favorite piano man, Dan Tudor, will be back at The Barn playing everyone’s ...

Meat from our organically raised animals that have been born right here, and our organic produce that we grow right here. Both these recipes depend on using gorgeous rock-star tomatoes which Anne said she was delighted to find at our farm. Please join us! You’ll find everything you need - including recipe cards - to make your own Panzanella at home. Anne is also going to use our fresh herbs to demonstrate how quickly herbs can change up the flavors in any dish. New ...
