Rosy Tomorrows Heritage Farm has been Certified as a Grassfed Producer!!
AGA Grassfed Standards for meat and dairy have been developed by a team of animal scientists, veterinarians, ranchers, and range management specialists. The standards focus on 4 main areas:
+ Diet – Animals are fed only grass and forage from weaning until harvest.
+ Confinement – Animals are raised on pasture without confinement to feedlots.
+ Antibiotics and hormones – Animals are never treated with antibiotics or growth hormones.
+ Origin – All animals are born and raised on American family farms.
Obtaining certifications can be hard for small farms to obtain simply because the documentation, paperwork and inspections take time. However, we wanted a certification that could communicate what we do here and the thoughtful, humane and holistic practices we adhere to here at Rosy Tomorrows Heritage Farm. We are thrilled at our certification – one that is the highest rated by Consumer Reports’ Green Choices, the organization that evaluates and rates food labels. The more farms that can get into this program and get certified, the better the stewardship of the land and the animals—and the better Americans will be eating.
